No. You can write and publish anonymously. A free verified account is optional and adds a cloud note directory, cross-device access and owner recovery without changing what readers can see.
Is my draft uploaded while I type?
A new unpublished draft stays in your browser. It is sent to our service only when you choose Publish.
What is the difference between the share link and edit link?
The share link opens a read-only note. The edit link gives anyone who has it permission to change settings, edit or delete that note.
Can I add a password or expiry date?
Yes. Add a password and choose an expiry of one hour, one day, one week, two weeks or one month when publishing or afterward.
Are images, tables and themes really free?
Yes. All currently available editor features are included, whether you write anonymously or use an optional account. There is no subscription or payment flow.
Can Love Notepad recover a lost edit key?
An anonymous note cannot be recovered without its edit key, so keep that link safe. A verified account owner can sign in, reopen an owned cloud note and deliberately create a replacement edit link.
